Stepping into the world of Zeekr X, I felt like I'd been transported into the future of driving. The sleek, aerodynamic lines of the vehicle immediately caught my eye. It's as if the designers took a page out of a sci-fi novel, crafting a car that looks ready to glide through the streets of Sydney with ease and elegance. The two-tone paint job and frameless side mirrors add a touch of sophistication that screams modern luxury.

As an EV-er living between Canberra and the Illawarra, I've witnessed the growing pains of our 'electric vehicle revolution,' especially in urban areas like Sydney. While Australia's EV adoption is accelerating, we face a significant roadblock in charging infrastructure, particularly for those without private parking. Kerbside AC charging emerges as a game-changer, offering a lifeline to urban EV owners. It's convenient, gentler on batteries, and typically cheaper than rapid charging. Recent initiatives, like the NSW Government's rollout of over 600 charging ports and Wollongong's pole-mounted chargers, show promising steps towards an EV-friendly future. While challenges remain, I'm optimistic that with the right approach, we can make EVs accessible to all Australians, regardless of where they live.

The addition of the Peugeot e-Expert electric van marks a significant milestone for SEE-Change, enhancing its operational efficiency and reinforcing its commitment to sustainability. With this new vehicle, SEE-Change is better equipped to serve the Canberra community, support the ACT government's environmental initiatives, and continue its mission of fostering a fair and sustainable future through community connection and action.

Starting from next Monday - July 1, 2024, the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) will implement a ground breaking change in its vehicle registration system, transitioning from a weight-based to an emissions-based model.
